Bye bye vroom vroom

There are few things dearer to a man's heart than the cars he owns in his lifetime. As a kid, they were the vehicle to the world of make-believe. When a boy grows up into a man, to him, they represent freedom, independence, confidence & sophistication, to name but a few. And when the time comes to end an era with a particular car, parting is such sweet sorrow. When my good friend, Shaun, asked me to take some photos to help him remember what the car meant to him in the time that he had her, I instantly empathised with him, and thus attempted to capture her true essence. We headed up to Signal Hill and Tafelberg Road one early weekday morning, and this is what was delivered..
